I make genuine, ocean-tumbled sea glass Jewelry

I moved to St. John in 2003 mostly on a whim after my brother had vacationed here and said I would like, he was right!
I got 2 great jobs right away one at a well know restaurant La Tapa and the other was on a day sail charter boat which I had zero experience at. I have given up my restaurant career in hopes of making more time for jewelry. I worked on the Wayward sailor almost every day. www.waywardsailor.net for the 17 years I was on St John.
I can't remember when I first collected sea glass but I started making jewelry with it in December 2013 when the boat was down for 2 months and I had a lot of time on my hands.
Each piece is unique and one of a kind because the sea glass is NEVER identical but some designs can be recreated.

Please remember that all the sea glass is NEVER machine-tumbled! It comes from the rocky and sandy shores of St. John and the small surrounding cays that I collect myself. Some times I get "presents" from friends too from around the world.

Most of my sales are made in person at local fairs, festivals, and trunk sales

Due to covid and other life events I returned to Massachusetts in March of 2020

I am still making jewelry from my hoard of sea glass I collected on St John and still make trips there to see friends and do more hunting a few times a year.

I am sad to say the captain of the Wayward Sailor Capt. Phil passed away in September of 2021

2024 from gems to webs

With no regular access to beaches in my home town of Holliston MA for sea glass collecting I have turned to other natural sources of entertainment like mushroom hunting and capturing and preserving real spider webs. I am totally fascinated by all things in nature. So was born - Woven by Nature- my spider web art and jewelry making name
